Kerrygold is owned and loved by the Kerrygold farmers – but what does that actually mean?

As a cooperative, we are owned by the farmers who produce the milk that is the key ingredient in all our products.

Many of the dairy farms are small (often less than 60 cows) and most are owned by farming families, who have farmed them over many generations.

The cooperative is founded on the values of honesty, social responsibility and care for others.  The member farmers work for the sustainable development of their farms and local community and take an active role in the cooperative’s business.

The dairy farmers take pride in their cows, the fertility of their land and providing the highest quality milk year after year.

Being an Irish dairy cooperative means that all our ingredients are sourced locally, from trusted dairy farms.
